While I always do my best to get orders out as quickly as possible, each Velveteen Sunshine piece is packed by hand with lots of care and attention before heading off to its new home.

Please note that delivery timeframes are in addition to processing times and are managed by Australia Post once your parcel has been shipped.

Orders ship twice a week from the Gold Coast on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be processed before it is shipped (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Once your order has been shipped, delivery timeframes will vary depending on your location and the shipping option selected at checkout.

Standard Shipping:

• Same state: 2-4 business days
• Interstate: 3-6 business days

Express Shipping:

• Same state: 1–2+ business days
• Interstate: 1–3+ business days

Yes! All Velveteen Sunshine orders are packaged beautifully and are perfect for gifting.

You’re also welcome to send your order directly to someone special. Simply enter their name and shipping address at checkout and I’ll send it straight to them.

Please make sure all shipping details are entered correctly, as Velveteen Sunshine will not be responsible for parcels sent to incorrectly entered addresses.

Every Velveteen Sunshine piece is handmade, so bead placement, patterns and natural materials may vary slightly from the product photos. Those tiny differences are part of the charm and mean no two pieces are ever completely identical.

1. If you have a tape measure, simply wrap it around your wrist and note the measurement.
2. If you're using a piece of string, wrap it around your wrist, then measure the length of the string with a ruler.

At the moment, I don't offer a resizing service. However, if you receive your items and find that the size isn't a perfect fit, don't worry! I'd be delighted to assist with an exchange.

Please note, return shipping costs are your responsibility. To avoid disappointment, ensure you are measuring your wrist and referring to the Size Guide prior to placing your order.

To help your Velveteen Sunshine jewellery stay beautiful for as long as possible, please handle each piece with care.

Bracelets: Gently roll your bracelets on and off your wrist rather than stretching the elastic. This helps maintain the shape and longevity of your piece.

Necklaces: Store your necklace clasped or laid flat when possible to help prevent tangling. Avoid pulling on the chain or beaded strand, and take care when fastening and removing your necklace.

Many pieces feature delicate materials including glass, ceramic, painted and coated beads, freshwater pearls and natural stones. To keep your jewellery looking its best, avoid dropping, scratching or knocking it against hard surfaces.

Please remove your jewellery before swimming, showering or exercising, as water and moisture can affect certain materials, finishes and elastic over time. It's also best to avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions and other fragrances.

Please note that painted finishes, acrylic letter beads and heart beads may naturally fade or show signs of wear over time with regular use. This is a characteristic of these materials and is not considered a manufacturing fault.

No, I recommend removing your jewellery before swimming, showering or exercising to help preserve the beads, finishes and elastic.

Velveteen Sunshine pieces are handmade with lots of care, but like all elastic jewellery, general wear over time can happen.

If your bracelet breaks or needs restringing, please feel free to Contact Me. I’m always happy to assess repairs and restringing on a case-by-case basis where possible.

Customers are responsible for postage costs to and from Velveteen Sunshine for repairs or restringing services. If any beads are missing or require replacement, additional charges may apply depending on the materials and availability.

Please note that general wear, stretching, fading and accidental damage are not considered faults.

Yes! Velveteen Sunshine does offer a children’s range, and I also love creating custom pieces for little ones, including matching sets.

A quick note on safety: Bracelets are not recommended for children under 3 years old. For children over 3, bracelets should only be worn under close supervision. Jewellery should always be kept out of reach when not in use, and for safety reasons, I strongly recommend removing bracelets before naps or bedtime.

Velveteen Sunshine pieces are created using a mix of materials including glass, acrylic, ceramic, gemstone, freshwater pearl, mother of pearl and specialty beads, depending on the design.

Most round beads are made from glass, while letter and novelty beads are typically crafted from acrylic. Specific materials used within each piece will be listed in the product description where relevant.
