Hey there, Sunshines!

I’m Jess, the heart and hands behind Velveteen Sunshine.

I live on the Gold Coast with my two beautiful kids, two fluffy sidekicks, and what can only be described as an ever-growing collection of beads, plants, seashells and creative ideas. I’m drawn to colour, nostalgia, horror movies, individuality and all the little things that make life feel fun.

Before Velveteen Sunshine, I spent years in the corporate world. But once I became a mum, something shifted. What started as a bracelet-making afternoon with my daughter quickly turned into a creative obsession, and eventually, this colourful little business.

Velveteen Sunshine was built as a celebration of self-expression. Every piece is handcrafted by me and designed to bring a little more colour, personality and whimsy into everyday life. Whether you love bold statement stacks, playful pops of colour or jewellery that feels fun, expressive and completely your own, there’s something here made to feel like you.

I love creating jewellery that feels fun without taking away from your individuality. Pieces you can throw on with your favourite band tee, your dopamine outfit or your everyday uniform.
